Cristel Tapia is a talented graphic and web designer currently based in Lima, Peru, with over 4 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, and web design for retail brands. Known for her creativity, technical skills, and detail-oriented approach, she has designed and managed impactful visual communication projects and branding initiatives. Cristel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Marketing at ESAN Business School. Her professional journey includes key roles at Sodimac, Falabella.com, and Belcorp, where she applied and developed UI/UX design, digital branding, and communication strategies.
As the Co-Founder and Marketing Director of Caminando Juntos, an NGO, Cristel leads the marketing team to amplify the organization’s purpose through social media, brand identity, and engagement initiatives, aiming to attract volunteers, donations, and partnerships.
Additionally, Cristel has collaborated with renowned brands like Alicorp, Belcorp, Falabella, Luz Del Sur, and Camila Viali as an independent graphic designer, where they hired her for various projects. She has also worked with independent clients, contributing her expertise in branding, editorial design, social media, and video editing.
Alongside her career, she currently offers freelance design services, including branding, editorial design, social media, and video editing. Cristel thrives in team settings and is always eager to learn, tackle new challenges, and contribute to creative, impactful projects.
